Eleanor M Greenway

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11am in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Gary DeMore officiating.

A lifelong resident of Augusta, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Carlton Howard Maryott and Pauline Allen Maryott. She graduated from Tubman High School and Junior College of Augusta. She worked at Lilly Tulip and was a substitute teacher for the Richmond County School System. She was a homemaker to her five boys and enjoyed gardening, fishing and growing camellias. She loved to attend and enter the camellia shows.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Z Greenway, sister, Katherine Francis Maryott, and grandson, Michael Wayne Alan Brown. She is survived by her sons, Alfred Carlton Brown and his wife Petrea, Encinitas, CA, Philip Neil Brown, Huntsville, AL, Paul Howard Greenway and his wife Corinthia, Martinez, GA, Wayne Zade Greenway, Jack Glenn Greenway, both of Augusta, GA; brother, Dr. Arthur Allen Maryott and his wife Marge of Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren, Philip Loyd Brown and his wife Cheryl, Kristina Rae Brown, both of Carlsbad, CA, Paul Howard Greenway, Jr. and his wife Nicky, Evans, GA, Brittany Brown Lattier and her husband Chris, The Woodlands, TX, Margaret Greenway Keri and her husband Luke, Marietta, GA, and 3 great grandchildren.
