Our hero, James “Jim” R. Blackledge, age 58 of Augusta started his journey with the Lord on October 10, 2012 at University Hospital after a long battle with lung cancer. He was a brave, wonderful, faithful, and hardworking man that will be in our hearts forever. James will truly be missed by his love, Sally Mutdosch and loving family, sisters, Susan Old and her husband Rick of Augusta, GA; Sandra Huff and her husband Mark of Lincolnton, GA; Jo Anne Rodgers and her husband Billy of Aiken, SC; and brother Frank Blackledge and his wife Lee of Augusta, GA; 7 nieces and nephews, and 16 great nieces and nephews. He was born in Germany on April 23, 1954 and was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Hilda and Frank Blackledge. Memorial services will be private.
