James "Jimmy" C. Rowe Jr.

Mr. James C. Rowe Jr. “Jimmy” went home to be with his lord on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Whole Life Ministries with Dr. Sandra Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home-Columbia Rd.

Mr. Rowe was born in Morris Town NJ. He retired from Thermal Ceramics and enjoyed laughing and having a great time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed singing on the Praise Team, playing golf and bowling.

Mr. Rowe was preceded in death by wife of 56 years, Norma Horne Rowe. He was also preceded by his daughter, Robyn Purvis. Survivors include his son, James C. Rowe III and his wife Jana, son-in-law, Dean Purvis and his wife Cathy, grandchildren, Jacob Rowe, Justin Rowe, Emily Rowe, Matthew Rowe, April Purvis, and Andrew Purvis. His sister, Patty Lavolpe, brother, Doug Rowe and other family members, Rose Jordan, Velda Schirhart and her husband Gene, Ina Miller and several nieces and Nephews.

Pallbearers will be Danny Starling, Leo Roche, Mark Jacobson, Leo Davis, Gene Hollins and Johnny Hollins.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Whole Life Ministries, American Cancer Society or to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
