Mr. James Thomas "Tom" Tinsley

Tom was a Professional Painter and Wallpaper Hanger in the Augusta area for many years. He was a member of Sons of American Legion Post 192, Evans AA Group and Augusta Bowling Association. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Tinsley; four children, Amanda Tinsley, Tammy Sheck, Tommy (Rosa) Tinsley and Tony (Rea) Tinsley; sister, Wanda Smith; brother, Wayne Tinsley; six grandchildren, Kristi Sheck, Josh Sheck, Hunter Tinsley, Taylor Tinsley, Kayle Tinsley and Ana Tinsley; and one great-granddaughter, Scarlett Tackels.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held 1 PM, Monday, May 6, 2013 in the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tom Barrett, Frank Worsham, Chuck Lambert, Bobby Reynolds, Neil Tallant and Ted Earl.
