Jerrylena Gay Marshall

Ms. Jerrylena Gay Marshall of Augusta, GA, 80, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at her residence. A visitation will take place on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 1-3pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road. After the visitation friends and family are invited back to the Marshall residence. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. A lifelong resident of Augusta, she was the daughter of the late James G. Gay and Eva Padgett Gay. She was a retired Pulmonary Technologist. Jerrylena was instrumental in starting the pulmonary lab at the former Talmadge Hospital. She was an avid china painting artist and reader. She enjoyed going to estate sales, flea markets, and the Augusta hockey games. Her greatest joy was her children, spending time with her family, and beach time with her friends. Jerrylena is survived by her daughter, Nonah (Doc) Allen of Evans, GA and children, Evie Deloach, Laura Paulos, Kathryn Paulos, and their 3 grandchildren, son Gerald Marshall of Augusta, GA, and his children, Ethan Marshall, Austin Marshall, son, Alan (Donna) Marshall of Augusta, GA and their children, Lauren Marshall, Kelly Marshall, son, Daniel (Marie) Marshall of Appling, GA, and their children, Jennifer Marshall, Becky Tippins, Dana Marshall, son, James (Lynn) Marshall, Augusta, GA, and daughter, Jamie Marie Marshall, son, Jonathan (Julie) Marshall of Augusta, GA, and children, Ansley Marshall, Jonathan Marshall, II, brother, Padgett Gay, Lincolnton, GA, sister, Beth James.
