Jimmy Dees

Mr. Dees worked at Crawford Cabinets for twenty-six years. He was a baseball coach for Columbia County Recreation Department for many years.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Bell Dees; two sons, Lamar and Jessica Dees and Daniel Dees; two granddaughters, Mackenzie and Camdyn Dees; his parents, Jane and Bill Isaac; two brothers, Eddie and Sam Dees; four step-brothers, Billy, William, David and Earl; and four step-sisters, Melina, Ann, Jeanette and Ruth. He is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Dees.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 – 7 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, October 13, 2011 in the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Clifford O’Bryan officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Max Thomaston, Shane Gilmore, Todd Berry, Jeff Stewart, David Crawford and Keith Reynolds.
