Lakshmi Pati was born in Bihar, India on July 13, 1950 to Harbansh and Roshan Singh. He worked for the US Government for 33 years and served in the Army Reserves for 22 years. Lakshmi Pati Singh retired as an Industrial Hygienist and Major in the US Army. He was the President of RANA from 2013 to 2015 and the founder President of the GA-AL local chapter. He remained an active member in RANA even after stepping down as president. Lakshmi Pati enjoyed working in his yard and garden. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He enjoyed socializing with others and was well liked within his community.
Lakshmi Pati is survived by his wife, Gita; his daughters, Namita and Shweta; and his grandchildren, Ariel, Trisha, Kali, and Ahaan. He is predeceased by his son, Rahul.
