A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 in The Salvation Army Kroc Church, followed by an inurnment at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Davis was a native of Jacksonville Fl., but has lived in Augusta for many years, who was a devoted husband and father. He was a Marine Veteran, and was a retired pipefitter with local 150. He was very active member of the Salvation Army in Augusta, where he was the church treasure, Sunday school teacher, a band member as well as a Salvation Army Solder. He also worked with the Salvation Army Emergency Disaster services and was very active with the Community Care Ministry.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mrs. Louise Davis, his two sons, Marvin T. Davis, Ron B. Davis, his brother, Jervis Davis and sister, Jeannette Price. Survivors include his son, Arthur Davis, Daughter-in-law, Schlena Davis, sister, Nora Smith, Brothers, Johnnie & Jimmie Davis.
