Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 3pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
Born in Brunswick, GA she was the daughter of the late Terrell and Frances Jean Moore Courson. She moved to Augusta in 1968 from Brunswick. She was a retired operator from AT&T and travel agent from Home Travel. Sandra loved to cook and travel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jana Darlene Head. She is survived by her husband, Donald “Don” Head, Sr., son, Donnie (Katie) Head, Martinez, GA; sister, Pamela (Frank) Relken, Newton, NC, brother Terry (Vera) Courson, McCormick, SC; grandchildren, Elizabeth Head, Emma Head, and Houston Head.
Memorial Contributions maybe directed to the American Heart Association, Kidney Foundation, or the American Cancer Society.
