Sandra Lee Owens

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 in the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Father Mark Van Alstine officiating. The interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Owens was born in Corning, New York, but had lived in Augusta for the past several years. She was a retired United States Army veteran. Mrs. Owens also served her country proudly during the Kuwait and Gulf War Conflicts. She was also a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Harold and Lucia Esther Demonstoy; and sister, Rebecca Reisinger. Mrs. Owens is survived by her brothers, Dennis L. Demonstoy of Waynesboro, GA and Willard Reisinger of Grovetown, GA; her nieces, Jeana (Terry) Marshall of Waynesboro, GA and Michelle Spence of Accomac, VA. She is also survived by 1 great niece, 3 great nephews, and 1 great-great niece.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
