

On June 1, 2021, Terry Leon Risner went to his forever home with his Lord at the age of 66. He was born on July 17, 1954, to his parents Ervin Lee and Winnie Pearl Martin Risner in Huntsville, Tx. Terry resided in Punkin, Texas through his younger years and made his home in Sylvania, Georgia throughout his adult years until passing.
Terry is preceded in death by his loving father, Ervin Lee Risner.
He is survived by mother, Winnie Pearl Risner, fiancé Kaye Thomas Risner, daughter LeAnn Marie Metts and husband Richard David Metts, his son Lee Edward Risner, son Euell Albert Risner, grandson Shintaro Risner, granddaughter Taylor Roy and husband Justin Roy, granddaughter Grace Lairmore and husband Shawn Lairmore, grandson Avery Hickman and fiancé Seth Brown, grandson Ashton Hickman, grandson Jaxson Risner, grandson Euell Risner Jr, grandson Justin Risner, granddaughter Miranda Metts and significant other Randall Blackmon, granddaughter Victoria Gonzales and husband Jason Gonzales, great grandchildren Timothy Lairmore, Alyssa Roy, McKenzie Lairmore, Lexi Roy, Hayden Roy, Leah Lairmore, Bentley Gonzales, JD Gonzales, and many, many friends.
Terry will forever remain his Momma’s Boy, children’s Dad, grandchildren and great grandchildren’s Papa, his fiance’s love of her life, and a truck driver by heart and soul.
His family would like to express special condolences to his mother who has lost her only child, his fiancé who has lost her husband to be, and his friends in Georgia that knew him as family.
Terry has made his final journey from Georgie to Texas. The family would like to invite Terry's family and friends to his memorial services at Pine Valley Baptist Church on July 31, 2021 at 10 AM, with Brother Hunt presiding. Terry's children LeAnn, Lee, and Euell will have a private burial of their father's ashes beside his Father, their Grandfather. Following services the ladies of Pine Valley Baptist Church will host a dinner for Terry's family and friends. The family does ask that you contact LeAnn Metts @ (936) 727-1908, if planning on making attendance. Any flowers, plants, or arrangements can be brought to Pine Valley Baptist Church at time of services.
