Theron Donahue

Theron was born in Bellville, Georgia on November 12, 1928, the son of the late Henry Donahue and the late Lila Jenkins Donahue. Theron was a 20 year veteran of the United States Navy and retired in 1970 at the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He also retired from United States Cold Storage in Orlando, Florida as Chief Engineer after 20 years. Theron loved to travel and did visit all 50 of the United States with his late wife, Faye. He was a dedicated family man who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was a member and Deacon of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Theron was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Faye and his sons Jay and Kenneth. He is survived by his daughters, Denise (Al) Finkbeiner of Aiken, SC, Cecilia (Tom) Malanowski of Ellicottville, NY, and Teresa (Phil) Shad of Jacksonville Beach, FL. He is survived by his grandchildren, Jeremy Finkbeiner of Aiken, Amanda (Calvin) Setters of Aiken, Ryan Malanowski of Ellicottville, NY, Sara (Ian) O'Neil of Great Valley, NY, and Sean (Nici) Malanowski of Covington, Georgia and 9 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Aiken, SC on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 5:00 pm.
