Vicki A Hensley

She was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Louise Shackleford. While she was living in California, she met and married a "slick" soldier named Edward C. Hensley.

She bore Edward three daughters. Her and her family followed Edward around the world in his numerous military assignments. She was a master homemaker and made each new assignment worthy of being called a home. She and the family finally moved to Martinez in his final assignment and lived there for over 45 years.

She was a fanatical Atlanta Braves fan and "coached" them on every televised game. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed playing with her friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Edward: a sister, Anna; three daughters, Terri, Cindy, and Traci; three granddaughters, Lauren, Morgan, and McKenzie

Visitation will be at 3:00 PM on October 1st, 2021 at Elliot and Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road

Martinez. Service will follow at the funeral home at 4pm.
