Angela Marie McClure, Age 42, died unexpectedly at home on January 26, 2026. She was born on September 15, 1983, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Lisa C. (Boerger) McClure and Steven A. McClure (deceased). She lived most of her life in Racine, Wisconsin where she was raised and attended school, where she made many life-long friendships, and where her children were all born: Steven Krupp - age 22; Jaylen McClure - age 19; Devontae McClure - age 16, Tyren Johnson - Age 12; Marley McClure - Age 9; Irie McClure - Age 8. She moved to Hedgesville, WV in 2018. She was very close throughout her life with her sibling Ben (Alana) McClure who lives in Inwood, WV who was a friend as well as a sibling, and who was always there to pick up kids, drop off kids, fix computers, and to share in whatever holiday meal or fun activity was in the works!
Angela had a personality that made her larger than life, and drew people to her, as evidenced by the hundreds of friends and thousands of social media followers who laughed at her posts and shared in the events of her busy life! She worked at the local Macy's warehouse where she was a supervisor where her sharp mind and desire to excel were on full display. Smart as a whip, she picked up new things quickly and could always be counted on by her employer, where she continued to stand out as a rising star. She made several good friends at work who added to her life in recent years. Very special to her were Stephan Barino, who she loved and was planning a long and happy future with, welcoming him and his son Asa into her large and active family!
Angela was well known for her amazing cooking skills. She never met a recipe she liked, so she drew inspiration from them all and made her own versions and spoiled her family and friends with amazing dishes that were always delicious. Although Angela was not big on cleaning up, those who enjoyed the food also got the privilege of the kitchen cleanup! A trained cosmetologist, she frequently snipped and clipped for her family and friends. She always did a beautiful job, even on her own hair. She loved color in all things and had a real eye for putting things together in a way that was different than the expected, and it always worked! She loved a good road trip, loading up the minivan with kids, suitcases, and amazing snacks for adventures. She marched to her own rhythm, never felt the need to follow the crowd, and was always true to herself.
She loved her children fiercely and showed her love to them every day in so many ways. She was always planning special trips (large and small) checking out things in the area, planning road trips, and somehow managing to pull it all off on minimal sleep and with gusto! She built family traditions like staying up late watching movies with the kids, putting together some of the biggest Christmases you would ever imagine, making a really big deal about Halloween activities and costumes that all the kids loved, and fun dinners out at buffet restaurants where everyone could have whatever they wanted and no one had to clean up! Her children loved her so much and are missing her deeply. Her children have amazing memories with her that will never fill the void fully, but that will be with them for their entire lives.
Angela is deeply missed and is survived by her mother, Lisa McClure, who was integrated with Angela's busy family, her sibling Ben (Alana), her children, Steven, Jaylen, Devontae, Tyren, Marley and Irie. Her maternal Grandmother Karen Boerger (Racine, WI), her paternal Grandmother Janalee McClure (Brohman, MI), Uncles Mark (Jeri) Boerger, Peter (Alison) Boerger, and Jim (Jennifer) Boerger and their families including many cousins and second cousins, Ken (Barb) McClure, Audrey (Ray) Williams and their families, as well as extended family and close friends in Wisconsin and great uncles, aunts, and cousins in Michigan.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Steven McClure (1984), her Grandfathers Jon Boerger (2006), and Lester McClure(2022), her uncle Ron McClure, and cousin Steve McClure. Memorial celebrations are yet to be scheduled but will be held in Wisconsin and West Virginia in the coming months where Angela's friends, family, and amazing exploits will be on full display!
Saying goodbye to Angela McClure is heartbreaking but she will remembered always for her beautiful smile, her incredible laugh, her powerful love, her amazing t-shirts, her nails, leggings that are legendary, and all of her potential that should have been yet to come! She will be missed beyond measure.
