Born July 28, 1944 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Georgia Mason.
Carolyn retired as an LPN at the VA Medical Center after twenty eight years. She hunting, camping, and fishing and was a women’s champion at the local archery club.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Barrett; one daughter, Roxanne Morrison and husband, John; and one grandson, Joseph Morrison and wife, Ashley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronald “Ronnie” Barrett, II; three brothers: Eugene Mason, Ardell Mason, and Hilton Mason; and one sister, Agnes Rice.
Friends will be received tonight from 6-8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 4th at 1pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
