Cecile Celeste Quinlan, known as Cece, died on February 22, 2026. Cece was a trial attorney for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for almost her entire career. She was dedicated to representing people who were fighting discrimination, harassment and retaliation based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation) disability and age.
She is survived by her older sister, Michelle; her loving niece, Nicole; and her brother, Jeremiah (Bo); her loving nephews, Jeremiah, Timothy and Brendon. She was a good athlete, she played rugby for her college, Boston College. She loved to play golf, and watching football on the weekends. Cece loved nature, the ocean and camping in the mountains with her friends from Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
We love her and will miss her deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held sometime in the Spring.
