Charles Allnutt

Charles William Allnutt, affectionately known as "Charlie Brown," of Harpers Ferry, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on January 10, 1971, in Leesburg, Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles and Betty Grove.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of twenty four years, Mary Allnutt; his children, Margaret Allnutt and Debra Allnutt; and his stepchildren, Michael Ramirez, Crystal Ramirez, Amber Ramirez, Alyssa Mercier, and Joseph Mercier. He is also survived by four sisters, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Frances.

Charlie enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and fishing, and cherished moments with his family. He had a passion for Eagles, race cars, and loved listening to his music turned up loud while enjoying a Busch Light Beer and smoking a cigarette.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home on Monday June 30, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm, officiated by Pastor William Long. Charlie will be laid to rest at Hillsboro United Methodist Cemetery in Purcellville, Virginia, on the same day.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andy, Phil, Michael, Mikey, Donnie, and Charlie. Honorary pallbearers will be Luke, TJ, Joey, and Ryan.
