Gary W Rogers

Gary W. Rogers, 66, of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 in his home under the care of Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 5, 1945 in Berkeley County, he was the son of Betty (Kidwell) Rogers of Martinsburg and the late Glenwood Rogers.

He was a member of the U.A.W. 1590, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 120 in Martinsburg, and the B.P.O.E Lodge 189.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Rogers.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 49 years, whom he loved deeply, Bev Rogers of Martinsburg; two daughters, Kelly Rogers of Martinsburg, and Kandi Anderson, and her husband Kerry, of Mechanicsville, VA; a son, Glenn Rogers of Martinsburg; two sisters, Darlene Hought, and her husband Bradley, and Carol Walls, and her husband Lester, all of Martinsburg; three brothers, Bobby Rogers, and his wife Vickie, Ralph Rogers, and David Rogers, all of Martinsburg.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jennifer Hutzler, T.C. Hutzler, and his wife Brandy, Heather, Chase, and Samantha Aldridge, Ross and Jeremy Anderson; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Kendall Hutzler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Thursday from 7-9 PM at Rosedale Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

Funeral Services will be held Friday 2:00 PM at Rosedale Funeral Home, Martinsburg. Chaplain Doug Knupp will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gary’s memory to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Ct., Martinsburg, WV 25403.
