

Born October 12, 1922 in Jones Spring, she was the oldest daughter of the late William Dorsey Armbrester and Mary Elizabeth (Burkhart) Armbrester.
Ms. Foltz was a seamstress at Martinsburg’s Interwoven Mill while her husband, Carl, served in the Navy during World War II. Ms. Foltz worked part-time at C.H. Mussleman Company and Singer while raising a family of four.
Helen was a member of the Pilgrim Church in Falling Waters in Martinsburg and helped to build the Little Falls Presbyterian Church in Falling Waters. She was an active volunteer in a number of charity organizations including the Rescue Mission in Martinsburg.
Helen will be sadly missed by her three sons, Larry Foltz of Martinsburg, David Foltz of Purcellville, Kenny Foltz of Sterling and one daughter, Carolyn Payamps of Frederick; eight grandchildren, Brad, Yvonne, Matthew, Ashley and Adam Foltz, April Oakley, Eric and Jaimie Orndorff; seven great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rebecca, and Christina Foltz, Travis Payne, Colby and Nathan Oakley and Jacksen Orndorff; one brother James Raymond Armbrester of Hedgesville; and one sister, Betty Ruth Linton of Hedgesville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl, and three brothers, Charles William, Paul Vernon and Robert Wesley Armbrester.
Friends will be received Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 2pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 11:00am at Rosedale Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Mead officiating.
Private interment will be held at Rosedale Cemetery.
