James Arthur Berry, 61 of Charles Town, WV departed this life April 21, 2017. Born July 16, 1955, he was the son of the late Mary Gray(Berry) and Lewis C. Berry. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl W. Berry and Lewis C. Berry Jr. He is survived by one son, James Monroe (Heather) of Martinsburg, two daughters, Cynthia Freeman (Adam) of North Carolina and Jessica Holmes of New Jersey. Five grandchildren and nine sisters; Stella Robinson (Lyle) of Charles Town, WV, Sarah Jones and Emma Rose of Martinsburg, Josephine Berry of Landover, MD, Cora Wood of Suitland, MD, Doris Whiting (Joseph) of Newburg, MD, Harla Berry and Linda Berry of Ranson and Angela Berry of Charles Town, and one aunt Dorothy Lewis of Summit Point and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. Jessie also known by some as HOTS loved dancing, music, horses, children and spending time with family. Jessie spent many years as a groomsman on many race tracks. Now he is headed to his eternal home to take care of the Master's Horses. "Running With The Horses" Jeremiah 12:5.
