James Duncan Cashell, age 69, passed away on Friday August 9, 2024, of Martinsburg, WV. Loving son of Arthur D Cashell and Winfred B. Cashell, both who predeceased James and are laid to rest in Brookville Cemetery in Olney, MD. Born in Silver Spring. MD
James, an only child, was a proud graduate of Northwood High School. He secured his AA Degree in Hotel/Motel Management from Montgomery College, and worked fulltime in his career until his retirement. Jim was an avid adventurer who traveled both in the US and internationally. His passion for trains, both original and model, was a Iife time joy and commitment. Jim was a member of the National Historical Railroad Society, Winchester chapter. He is survived by cousins and friends, who honor James's life and the contributions for all lives he touched. Burial arrangements expected at a later undetermined date.
