Born April 21, 1934 in Gerrardstown, he was the son of the late William and Rosa Largent.
Jimmy was a veteran who served his country in the US Army, and WV Army National Guard.
He was an electrician and worked for Cloud’s Electric, Sullivan Security and retired from the Berkeley County School Board.
Jimmy was a member of the Moose and was a proud supporter of the Martinsburg Police Department.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Rosalee (Sis); two sons: Ricky and Jay; one daughter, June Bentley of Texas; two grandchildren: Krissy Williams and Ricky Largent, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Thursday at 2pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
