Jerry was born in Martinsburg, WV to William Howard and Hilda Frances (Everhart) McKinney on October 30, 1941. He graduated from Martinsburg High School in 1959. He retired from General Motors after 33 years of service.
He survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Wanda B (James) McKinney. He leaves behind his 3 children, Sandy Kemner (Ralph) of Chesapeake, VA, Jerry McKinney Jr (Denise) of Bunker Hill, WV, and Tonya Dieterle of Greencastle, PA. He also leaves 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Family and friend's will be received at Rosedale Funeral Home on Tuesday June 18, 2024 at 1 pm until the start of funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
