Born on August 17, 1963, in Kingston, New York, to the late Russell and Margaret “Peggy” Dunham.
In June of 1995 Larry and Daralice “Marie” Ray, were joined as one, their first dance was to “Love Will Keep Us Alive” which describes their relationship perfectly.
Larry was well known and loved through his job at Shenandoah Refrigeration, where he worked for 20 years. He will be deeply missed by all his customers. He couldn’t go anywhere without finding someone to have a conversation with. He deeply loved poetry and connecting with nature. He enjoyed every second he got to spend with his family, especially on the yearly trips to Ocean City, MD. They would spend time kayaking together, fishing, camping, and late nights sitting at a bonfire looking up, mesmerized by the moon and stars. Now when his family looks at the moon and stars, they can see Larry and his dad, Russell, fishing and catching up. He was also an avid Jets fan, he always stayed up to date with the games, and he was even in attendance for a few. One of his favorite songs to listen to is “Reminds Me of You” by Van Morrison.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Marie. They were blessed with 4 children: Kelsey Dunham, Dalton Dunham, Frankie Pitcock and wife Angie, Annette Pyles and husband John. He also leaves behind his 8 grandchildren; Avery, Ashton, Adeline, Serenity Pitcock, Paisley Witt, Thyme, Thorne, and Juniper Dunham, Brothers; Richard Dunham, Frederick Dunham and wife Amy, Russell A. Dunham, one sister; Lori Ann Rheal and husband Dave. Larry has several nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Geoffrey, Samentha, Jacob, Keith, Corey, Tyler, Hillary, and many cousins.
In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Dunham.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
