There are over 600,000, definable words in the English language alone. We learn 8,000 of those words, and how they make us feel by the age of 8. If we are blessed, 365 days is what we are given in one single year, just one of those days has exactly 1,440 minutes. On May 27, 1954, my grandmother; Linda Lou Branson started her first 60 seconds of life in Medina, New York. Blessed with just 36,211,680 minutes, no matter how you write it, with every one of the 600,000 words, none of these words will ever be right. When it comes down to it, just like our first 60 seconds each one of our memories, stories, life lessons, and paths taken with her are completely different; unique and special to us, just like our last 60 seconds. April 18, 2023, when her minutes with us stopped here on earth, her heavenly minutes began, together once again with her Mother Frances Carmelo, Father Santiago Valdez, Brother Sam Valdez, Niece Mia Wadell, Nephew Josiah Stout; Oscar and Petofa; welcoming her with open arms, wagging tails; standing and signing by her side as they all wait on us in our own time. We too, will start our minutes with her. When that day is to come, we will proudly follow the path you have paved for us. Sisters; Josie Wadell, Bonnie Stout, Brother Tim Valdez, Son Arturo Perez; Grandchildren Linda Abshire, Shai Perez and Trey Perez. With one not more important than the other, she made her own family along the way and held just as close to her heart Piglet “Hoghead” Branson, Butterscotch, Dickie Wadell, Leon Branson, Suzi Wilt, April Abshire, Darrell Wakefield, Patti Robertson, Amanda Paxton, Clay and Maggie Robertson. Our time hasn’t really stopped, just paused until our time comes, when God brings us back into your life, as he did when we needed you in ours; we are waiting.
