Lucille Nisewarner

Lucille Nisewarner, born on September 23, 1937, in Hedgesville, West Virginia, passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 87. She was the beloved daughter of the late Emma Shimp. Lucille was a resident of Inwood, West Virginia, and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and friend. She cherished the arrival of Spring, delighting in planting flowers, and spent winter nights with her kitties curled up on her lap.

Lucille is survived by her children: Dalene Bennett, Douglas Fravel, Donna Fravel, Dana Nisewarner, and Jennie Golliday; her grandchildren: Angie Smithermen, Carl Bennett, and Kenny Clark Jr.; as well as her great-grandchildren: Sandy Smithermen, Brier Smitherman, and great-grandchild Evie Smitherman. She is also survived by her brothers, Jessie James and Harlan Shimp, and her sister, Peggy Myers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Sonny Fravel and Charles Nisewarner.

Visitation will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home on May 23, 2025, from 10:00 am to the start of funeral services at 11 am with a burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
