Mason Wolfe Sr.

Born May 29, 1952 in Morgantown, WV, he was the son of the late Eva Marie McCarty (Sally) and Eugene J. McCarty of Kearneysville and Mason J. Wolfe of Fresno, CA.

Mason is survived by his children: Mason Wolfe Jr., Virginia Beach, VA, Jason Wolfe and wife Melody, Martinsburg, WV, Michael Wolfe, Martinsburg, WV and Tina DeWitt. Grandchildren: Hailey, Ashland, Andrew, Trenton, Tori, Michael, Katlyn, Autumn, and Shana; two great-granddaughters: Ellie and Violet; siblings: Darlene Harder, Lynette Gamez, and Jay Wolfe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved cat “Baby Girl” who he spoiled immensely.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Wolfe of Fresno, CA.

Mason was a Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam war. He was a dedicated, hardworking carpet/tile layer who loved NASCAR, WVU and Commander football games. He was a lifetime member of the VFW.

A private celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Berkeley County Humane Society.
