My deepest sympathy to each of you. I was good friends with Phil in high school. Such a nice guy and continued friendship in later years, seeing the sons go through school . Please know I have been thinking of you.

Dear Cave Family, I had the pleasure and I do mean pleasure of serving with Phil, in the command post at the 167th. He was great to work with, and was about as full of it as I was so we had some great times, working hard and then relaxing. It seems as thought the crew that used to keep that place going is just about all gone now. Only a couple of us who served back in the 60's and then again in the 70's through the 90's are left. Phil your cleared to start engines and cleared for Departure! Go with God my friend.

I (Ralph) worked with Phil at Corning as well as remember him hunting with Ralph Sr. and Edgar. Phil was such a great man to everyone and always has a laugh for you. They just don't make men like this anymore. Definitely sad to hear but happy he is now Resting in Paradise. So sorry we can not all attend a great celebration for him. Prayers for all.
