Raymond John Enright

Raymond John Enright of Martinsburg, WV went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2015 while under the care of Hospice at Meritus Hospital Center. Born on April 22, 1938, he was the son of the late Sophie Enright. He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Jacquelyn Kelsoe Enright; he was the loving father to his son Keith Enright, daughter Melanie Ierardi(Mike) and son John Enright(Vasty). His six grandchildren, Elizabeth Ashley Enright, Brittany Anne Enright, Dillon Ashley Enright, Lauren Kelsey Ierardi, Taylor Lee Enright and William McKenzie Enright were the apple of his eyes. In addition, he is survived by his siblings Joan Defibaugh(Frank), Hedgesville, Paul(Bonnie), Falling Waters, Dolores Williams, Rockville, and Alice Scott(Scott), Frederick, MD. Proceeded in death by two siblings, Richard J. Enright and Kathleen Burton. He leaves behind his adored furry companions, Yogi and Athena

He was a career firefighter in Montgomery County, Maryland. He began his career in 1967 retiring in 1994. Raymond felt privileged to be part of the brotherhood of firefighters. He was a member of Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church in Kensington. Ray was active working with homeless shelters. He loved people and never met a stranger.

His service and burial will be a fireman’s service with honors.

Visitation and service will be on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Visitation is from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The service will begin at noon, burial immediately following at Rosedale Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Rosedale Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at the same location, officiated by Rev. Tom Musgrove. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
