Sandra A. Dawson

Born on November 27, 1937 in Harrisville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Wade D. and Velma G. Burns Allman.

Sandra was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Golden Rule 69. She was retired and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Dudley Dawson, who passed away in 1999.

She is survived by her sons: Jeffery and Thomas (Laura); daughters: Suzanne Hart (Harold) and Jennifer Dawson (Keith Flynn); sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many other extended family members; and two best friends: Ginny Stotler and Julia Gates.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Belinda Anne Dawson Raney; brother, Donald Allman; and two sisters: Marjorie Utt and Betty Allman.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 6-8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 1pm at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Panhandle.
