Bud retired from B&S Hauling and was a longtime member of Blairton United Methodist Church. He proudly served in the United States Army and remained active in the VFW and the Moose Lodge.
Bud is survived by his wife of 54 years, Debbie Housden; two daughters, Tara (Rodgers) Housden and Amy Housden; three beloved grandchildren, Kaila Shamblin, Tyler Slevin and the late Cassie Slevin; two great grandchildren, Luka Slevin and Juniper Shamblin; two brothers, Charles (Bill), and Richard (Ricky) Housden.
In addition to his parents and granddaughter, Bud is preceded in death by two sisters, Karen M. Hardy and Sandi K. Housden; and one brother Gary Housden.
Gathering of family and friends will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held the following day, Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 3:00pm. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
