She was born on March 17, 1932 in Kabletown, WV and was the daughter of the late George and Frances Hostler.
Thelma was a genuine soul that had the sweetest smile that brightened up anyone’s day. She showered everyone with love, and was a grandmother to everyone. She was of the Christian Faith.
She is survived by her children: Monte Collins Sr., Anthony (Tony) Collins, Monica (Pam) Collins, and Timothy Collins; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Collins; siblings, Obie Johnson, George Hostler, Nelson Hostler, Gene Hostler, Johnny Hostler, and Ella Mae Burgess.
A visitation will be held at Rosedale Funeral Home on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 11-1 pm. Funeral services will start at 1 pm at Rosedale with Interment to follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
