Zachary Scott Young

Zachary Scott Young, a cherished resident of Charles Town, West Virginia, passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 32. Born on September 19, 1992, Zach was known for his kind-hearted, generous, and faithful nature. His humorous and thoughtful spirit, along with his compassionate and selfless demeanor, made him a beloved and brave individual to all who knew him.

Zach is survived by his devoted wife, Morgan Killen, and his cherished daughter, Ariellla. He leaves behind his loving parents, Alana and Jeff Pelton, and his faithful (son) dog, Max. Zach's family also includes Aunt Becki and Uncle Darrell Spickler, Uncle Randy, Heather, and Nolan, as well as Cousin Noel, her husband JC, and their son Noah.

Zach had a deep love for fishing and cherished spending time with his family. He found joy at the beach, playing video games, and engaging in playful moments with his dog, Max. Bowling with his mom and dad was a favorite pastime that brought him happiness.

Zach will be remembered for his selfless nature and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. His memory will continue to be a source of inspiration and love for his family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 10:00am at First Gospel Pentecostal Church located at 36 Laing Dr, Martinsburg, WV 25404. Zach will be laid to rest in Rosedale Cemetery following the funeral service.
