of Marysville, WA passed away on 4/25/2024 in Everett, WA.
Born 7/30/1947 to Grace & Orbra French in Newton, KS. After his father passed, Grace remarried to Don Adams, SR. Allen had five brothers and one sister.
At the age of 18, Allen joined the Army to proudly serve his Country in the Vietnam War. He was a Purple Heart recipient.
After serving, he came home and met the love of his life, Charlotte, cruising Colby. They were married in 1970 and had been together for 56 wonderful years.
Allen become known as "ALPO" once he joined the logging community as an owner/operator. He loved his profession and was known for his driving abilities of almost any truck possible. He met many friends along the way and he showed the ropes to many.
Allen was part of the GWTA. He and Charlotte had their own GoldWings and had many adventures and rides with friends along the way.
After retirement, they traveled to Arizona with their motorhome for more adventures. They travelled back to Washington to be closer to Family for the past couple of years.
Allen is survived by his wife: Charlotte; daughters: Stacy (Bill) and Jamie. Grandchildren: Neka, Kyra and Jaxon. Great grandson: Jarevyn. His beloved Pekingese, Ollie.
Allen will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Always our hero and protector. Allen has gone to soar with the eagles. This is not goodbye, just until we meet again.
