

Annette passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Aberdeen, WA on April 13, 1941 to Lloyd and Bertha Lougheed and survived by her 2 siblings, Judith Walls and Thomas Lougheed. After her high school graduation, she attended nursing school at Tacoma General Hospital School of Nursing and received her RN in 1963. She later went on to complete her Bachelors in nursing in 1983. She was a nurse, in many capacities, for over 50 years.
She married Rodney Bruce Knutz June 1961 and proceeded to have 6 children, listed as follows: Annette Reams (Jeff), Elizabeth Golden (Carey), Katherine Walker (Carl), Mary Haven (Scott), David Knutz (Mary), Aaron Knutz (Luana).They divorced, and later she married Clarence Hollingworth, who preceded her in death. She is survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She loved her little dog, Diamond, who now has a forever home in Utah with Aaron.
She was a strong Christian women who enjoyed her church family, wherever she was currently residing. She was very social and loved being with people, especially her family. Goodbyes were definitely not one of her favorite things. Her door was always open for visitors and a cup of coffee. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, traveling, reading, playing pinochle, and especially the outdoors. In fact, when she had the chance after work, she would take David and Aaron, when they were young, and hike in the dark with flashlights. Elizabeth often offered hiking excursions as gifts for holidays. She also loved the Arizona desert. Her love of the desert developed from her annual trips to Arizona for baseball Spring training with Clarence. After she retired, she moved to Arizona and made many friends. Due to health concerns, she eventually moved back to Washington and settled on Camano Island for the last 5 years.
She will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who were honored to have the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around her with her kind heart, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Montesano at the Wynooche Cemetery at 1426 Pioneer Avenue West, Montesano, WA 98563, reception to follow at the Church of God, 317 E. Spruce Street, Montesano, WA 98563.
