

A Proud Vietnam Vet, he served in the Army from 1969 to 1972. In 1984, Chuck moved his family to WA State. He has lived in Marysville for the last 30 years. Chuck retired in 2010 from Boeing where he worked as an HVAC mechanic.
Due to his passion, the house has been overrun by all things ducky. He loved fishing and camping with his kids and grandkids. Chuck could frequently be found on the sidelines of school events, sporting events and celebrations with his granddaughters. He also thoroughly enjoyed watching the Seahawks, Aqua Sox and Silvertips with family and friends. When not busy at sporting events or with grandchildren, Chuck could be found puttering in his garage, woodworking.
Chuck is survived by his wife Karen, his 3 sons, Charles Jr., Anthony (Twila), and James (Katy) and 6 granddaughters Erika, Brianna, Kylee, Rebecca, Alyssa, and Sarah. He also leaves his brothers, James (Shara), Dave( Rhonda) ,Jon ( Jackie) and Randy and sister Amy. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all.
A Rosary will be said Friday evening the 20th at 7:00PM at Schaefer-Shipman funeral home.
A memorial service will be held Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, in Marysville, Saturday Jan. 21st at 10 am. Luncheon following, St. Mary’s Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Marysville Food Bank, Food for Thought program, where he volunteered weekly.
