Chelsie Maureen Reyes

Chelsie Maureen Reyes, 35, went to be with her heavenly Lord and Savior and her earthly father, Samuel Reyes on January 19, 2011. Chelsie was born on May 8, 1975 to Samuel and Susan Reyes in Tacoma, Washington.

Chelsie attended Edmonds school district and graduated from Mountlake Terrace High School in 1993. Chelsie was employed by the Tulalip Tribes in various positions, Secretary for CEO, Secretary for the Board of Directors, Tulalip Health Clinic as a medical records clerk and data entry's clerk. Chelsie was known for her cooking abilities. She joined the Uppy's Cooking Crew, she cooked for the Tulalip Board of Directors, Tulalip Enrollment Committee, and for all our family gatherings. Chelsie was very active in all Tulalip Community Events.

Chelsie was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Reyes; her grandparents, Sammy and Vi Reyes; her grandmother, Patricia Pearson; and her uncle, Elwin Pearson Jr.

Chelsie is survived by her loving spouse, Cyrus Fryberg Jr.; children, Robert Jr. and Samuel; step-children, Bradley and Cyena; her mother, Sue and step-dad, Steven Canda; grandfather, Elwin Pearson; sister, Jessica Reyes (Clinton); nephews, Kristopher, Taylor, and Jaxon; and her niece, Cora.

Chelsie also leaves her parents-in-law, Cy and Karen Fryberg; her sisters, Carrie, Jennie, and Kristie Fryberg; and brother, Georgie Fryberg. She will be missed dearly by all her extended family, aunts; uncles; numerous cousins; and very special friends. Chelsie also leaves behind all of her friends in the Facebook World.

Chelsie's main love was spending time with her family. She loved watching her children in all of their sports activities. Chelsie loved her "HONEY'S" with all her heart!!!

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., January 25, 2011 at the Tulalip Tribal Center.
