Dear sweet galpal,  I miss you more than words could ever describe my feelings. You were on my mind this past week or so as I know it was your anniversary.  Shame on me for not calling Dave and I did think of it but got side tracked with our new puppy.  Oh Cheryl, what was I thinking!!   Please send down love and strength to me in raisning little Chloe.  She is a good dog... just got to get past the puppy stage - right?  I will be listening for your encouragement on those whoopsie daisy times and giving you a wink saying thanks!

Hi my friend- Can't believe it's been a year since you left - I think of you often and it makes me smile!  I will always treasure our friendship- love you!

Hi baby it's been a year now that your pain stopped. I still miss and love you Cheryl, The grief is so hard at times Baby and sometimes the only thing that gets me through the days are the Memories of you. I Am so thankful that we had all most 50 Years of Memories together I will all way cherish our Memories. You are my Guardian Angel and I know you are watching over our Family. It is coming on almost a year since your passing and there isn't a day that goes by I don't think of you and wish we could have those talks to share what we were going through.  I just want you to know that I have contributed to the Brain Cancer walk coming up on Sept 22 and if all goes well with my health I will walk in it with an old co-worker friend who lost her brother in law to Brain Cancer.
 I tear up at times thinking of you as it still seems so unfair and hard for me to accept.  Sending up kisses.

Mom I wish that you where still here with us, the last ten months since you have been gone a lot has happened, we took Dad to Leavenworth for his Birthday, Then the next Day Tinisha blessed us with a Beautiful Baby Girl Kyhler, Courtnie decided to be a rebel teen and run away she then stayed here with Andre and I for a bit and I can hear you say how dare she! Your oldest Grandson Zachary is in the process of buying a home and is scared to death, Devon will be starting on the Varsity Football Team he lettered inTrack and got his letterman's Jacket and now Andre's Dad was killed in a single car accident, we just got home from Virginia on Sunday.  I posted on my Facebook page while we were in Virginia asking why did two Beautiful people have to leave us so soon, I asked god to give our family strength!  I know that I am not the same person I was before, but maybe in time I will be but we will see.  I so much miss our talks we had and still talk to you but I don't hear you talking back to me I know one day I will ....I love you and miss you every day

Oh Cheryl its been 6 months and I still miss you I sit down and talk to you each day. I am still having a very difficult time understanding why God had to take you from us. I said last October that I could feel your presence sitting next to me in the car as you came home. I know you are watching over Me and our family. You gave me quite a scare the other day as I was sitting at the kitchen table having a drink and I know it was your way of telling me that you are with me and that you love me. Did I tell you how much I love today I would ask you that each day when I would pick you up and take you home. Cheryl I love you and I will love you for ever You are my World and my Universe and Baby I miss you so much.

Mom you have been gone almost 6 months, I think of you every day and wish that you were still here with all of us.  I love you.

 I am still having a hard time with your passing.  I find myself awakened in the middle of the night with little tears going down the sides of my head as I lay on my back.  I carry your angel breast cancer ribbon pin with me and I often ask you to help me get through losing you.
 Please know I will be your best friend forever.  I have a song on a CD that I am going to give to David that says it all from me to you.

Cheryl when I pick you up to bring you home it was like you were sitting right next to me in the car. I was able feel your presence and it was like you were saying let take a ride and go home, WE had our 46th Wedding Anniversary on Thursday I miss and love you. The past four weeks I have been lost with out you not careing about anything. I know that life will go on but not a day will go by that I will not be thinking of you, talking to you an telling you how much I love you. You are my World my Universe my Baby you have and always will be. Today is Sunday and you are going for that boat ride "YES" in your boat that you wanted. Oh Cheryl I Miss AND LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

David....I was so surprised to hear of Cheryl's passing....is was so good to see the two of you a couple of years ago on the cruise to Vancouver....I remember back to the days in high school when the two of your were dating and you were so-o-o in love!!  And then to have worked with Cheryl in travel for a few years...it was great to get to know her!!!I can't believe how many years have passed, but I wanted to let you know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

One of the best things I got from my employment at Albertsons was my friendship with Cheryl. She was gifted, creative, and a pleasure to work with. Besides the floral business, we had many other interests in common- especially our love of animals. We enjoyed sharing happy stories and also helped each other through the loss of our dear pets.  
Cheryl was a caring, patient person. Over the years, she mentored numerous special needs students in the floral department. She had a positive effect on their lives, and mine as well. I will miss her shining light, and will always remember her fondly.

My Dear best friend,
 Cheryl, where do I begin when I didn’t think I would ever be writing this.  
We met in the summer of ’62 and as we got to know each other and become friends, little did we know that it would develop into a strong bond that would last our lifetime.  Even though we grew older and lived in different cities and had our immediate families to take care of, we never forgot each other. When we would get together or talk on the phone we always ended up laughing like we were teenagers again. Remembering all those goofy times on our bicycles, sewing, and putting up photos of teen idols on our bedroom walls will always make me smile. And then there was the birth of your girls. What a ride watching them grow.  And lastly from being maid of honor in my wedding to sharing what life dealt us recently I knew I could call you and we would lift up each others spirits.
 When I saw you a few weeks ago I sat next to you on the bed and wrapped my arms around you and I blew you a kiss and told you I loved you and then walked out the door. As I left I heard you say back “Love you too”.  I will keep that with me forever.
   So my sweet, THANK YOU for being my best friend and for being in my life. YOU WILL BE MISSED BEYOND WORDS.

Cheryl Each day, Each hour, Each minute I miss you more. I miss not being able to look into your big brown eye's, Not seeing that smile of yours or being able to kiss and hug you and tell you how much I love you. At night in our bed I still turn your way to hold you but your not there, Oh Cheryl how I miss you it hurts so bad and so much. I think of all the wonderful memories we had together, 48 years of memories that I will treasure always in my heart. I miss you and will always love you forever. Thank you for being my SPECIAL ANGEL.

Mom I love you so so much, I will miss you every day for the rest of my life.  Knowing that I can never look into your big brown eyes again is a pain I feel so deep in my heart it hurts more than I have ever known.  Carrie and I were so blessed to have such a wonderful and loving mom.  And like her, I also wish you were here for just for one more day to tell you that I love you, to give you hugs, to give you kisses and just to be with you.  I LOVE YOU MOM.

Cheryl, we had so many memories together and years of freindship. It was more than freindship, it was family. We share many good times, much laughter, many adventures, as well as our families together. You have been the longest freind I have known. Not ever having a sister, I would say it was the closest as being one to me.
I love you and only wish we could have shared more time together. You will never be forgotten and in my heart and memories forever. So until we meet again my freind, may peace be with you.

 Cheryl was not only a wonderful,caring wife, mother,daughter, grandma and sister, she was a "forever" friend. How lucky I am to have known someone like Cheryl that saying goodbye to is so darn hard.
