Danny Lee LaFave passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday November 27th, 2025, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Onaway Michigan on December 6th, 1939, to Emil and Mabel LaFave. He met his wife Donna, and they spent 65 wonderful years together before passing. Danny was well known for his love of hunting, wood working craftsman shift, craft fairs, and storytelling. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, stepfather, 3 brothers, and 2 great granddaughters. He survives by his Wife Donna, Daughter Debbie (Robert), Son Forest, Daughter Babette (Bill), Daughter Elizabeth (Larry), Daughter Mary, 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Danny was a good father, a sweet grandpa, and a wonderful great grandpa (papa). Danny left us with many memories and so many stories. One of our favorite traditions was dad’s famous skinny pancakes, the family would all fight in line over who gets the first one. Danny has touched all our hearts, and he will be dearly missed by so many. Serves will be held later.
