Derald Robert Bunnell

Derald R. "Bob" Bunnell was reunited with his wife, Sally, and his son, Troy, as he took his last earthly breath with us and was ushered into the presence of our Lord on September 8, 2011 in Everett, Washington.

Bob was born February 1, 1942 in Wenatchee, WA. He was a son, brother, husband, father, friend and a soldier serving his country proudly the US Army/US Special Forces from 1961 until retiring as a MSG in 1981.

He is survived by his daughters, Linda Westerberg (Fred Westerberg) Cindy Albertson (Jeff Albertson) Kelli Collins (Eric Collins); his grandchildren, Meagan, Kaitlyn and Shelby Westerberg, Amanda Albertson Lucas (Chris Lucas), Lauren and Andrew Albertson, Brooke and Brittany Collins; great-grandchildren, Talan and Kamryn Lucas and Brayden Bowden; sister, Nancy McDougal; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Kristan Warrior-Bunnell; brothers, Mike Parsons and Dirk Parsons.

A visitation will be held at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville, WA on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at Marysville Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. that same day.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the volunteer organization O.A.S.I.S. Group (oasisgrp.org) in support of Special Forces Veterans.
