Eddy Dean Pablo Sr.

Eddy Dean Pablo Sr. was born August 6th, 1956 in St. Ignatius, Montana to Leota and Louis Roy Pablo Sr. Eddy went to be with the Lord on July 1st, 2016. Eddy was a proud member of the Tulalip Tribes of Washington and the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes of Montana.

Eddy had a heart of gold, full of love and compassion. He spent his life taking care of his family and his people, seizing opportunities to help with a smile on his face. He was full of hugs and “I Love You”. He always took the time to check on people and also visit his elders, bringing them seafood, elk and showering them with Love and laughter.

Eddy was a hard worker and had worked for the Tulalip Casino Construction for 23 years. Eddy loved his work and his co-workers, whom many became dear friends. He was a fisherman, crabber and hunter, well known for his smoked fish. Eddy loved to sell fireworks and Boom City became a big part of his and his children’s life. Of all things, Eddy loved being a Papa. He was the best Papa ever. Eddy is going to be greatly missed by many.

Eddy is preceded in death by his father Louis Roy Pablo Sr.; grandparents William and Elsie Price, Lawrence Pablo; sister, June Pablo; nephews Louie Pablo III and Desmond Pablo; Grandchild Omniara Angel Pablo.

He is survived by his mother, Leota Pablo; his life partner, Lori Parks; his children, James, Roy (Ananda), Ami (Chaz), Matthew, Tara, Leandra, Eddy Jr. (Sage) and Dean (Darlena); Grandchildren, Taylor, Isaiah, Keith, Kilian, Kia, Dontae, Jasmin, Shalana, Kendra, Elijah, Tarel, Rozzy, Damon, Ethan, Cruz, Flora and Preston. Great-Grandchildren Charles and Sheraylah; Brothers, Danny (Stephanie), Louie, Jimmy and Roger (Maxine); and also many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

InterFaith services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the Tulalip Gym. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Mission Beach Cemetery.
