Beloved Georgina of Marysville passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2011 at the age of 87.
She was born Georgina Giles on November 9th, 1923 in Windsor, Ontario. Along with her family, she moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1936. She married James J. Hanser in 1946 and together they raised their five children in the suburban Detroit area. In 1986 Georgina and Jim retired in Washington State and they settled in Marysville in 1996.
Known as "Mike" to her family and friends, Georgina is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years Jim; her daughters Kathy and Karen, her sons Jim (wife Lynn), Tom and Brian (wife Sue) Hanser; and her grandchildren Claire and Jacob Hanser.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, February 11 at Marysville Cemetery.
