Kassy Chantel Lee, beloved daughter, sister, Aunt, granddaughter and friend, passed away on April 2, 2026 at the age of 30. A memorial service will be held on April 16th 2026 at 2:00pm at Faith Lutheran Church, 1424 172nd ST NE Marysville WA 98271.
Kassy was a gifted artist and a university art major whose passion extended far beyond the canvas. She cared deeply about social justice and dreamed of using her art to support youth facing mental health challenges. Her creativity and empathy helped shape the way she moved through the world, and she continually strove to live with kindness and humility in her heart.
The nature of the Pacific Northwest was Kassy’s sanctuary, she loved the quiet spaces where she could breathe deep and recharge; and the beach was her happiest place. She has always found peace and inspiration in the fresh air, surrounded by the sound of the waves and the calm she felt near the water.
In her final act of love, Kassy chose to give the gift of life to families who were waiting for miracles, such an amazing and heartfelt choice; and we are all deeply proud of her.
Kassy is survived by her mother Amber Romero and husband; her father Eric Lee and fiancé. She leaves behind her sisters Kaela Lee, Dakota Lee and her wife Kendra Towhey, Koral Notman and her husband Jake Notman, as well as bonus sisters Shawna Hansen and Makaila St. Thomas. Her grandparents Gabby Moser, Randy Moser and Craig Butler. She was also blessed with many loved nephews and nieces; Lilah and Callie Pettis, Kelon and Paisley Towhey, Emery Lee, Skyla Beierle and Hannah Sullivan, Jj and Caleb Notman, and Magnus St. Thomas. She is also remembered with love by many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and random spirit.
She was welcomed by those who went before her; including her grandmothers Carla Butler, Krisha Elliott, as well as her grandparents Barbara and Raymond Brandes.
Kassy’s legacy lives on in the art she created, the people she loved and the compassion she carried into every space she entered. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
