

Marilyn J. Koplitz, 75, of Marysville Passed Away August 25, 2010. She was Born on Jun 15, 1935, to Adolph and Marjorie Koplitz. She lived her entire life in the home in which she was born until becoming ill several years ago.
A graduate of Marysville highschool, Everett Community college, and the University of Washington, Marilyn became a teacher, and spent her entire teaching career in the Marysville school system. She was highly regarded as an educator, and enjoyed helping with various school activities such as keeping stats for the junior high track team.
Her hobbies included sewing anything and everything; knitting with her knitting machine; photography; and doing all kinds of crafts. She was an active member of the Quil Ceda craft club and the Bunka club where she did Japanese embroidery. She loved to garden, and belonged to the Snohomish County Dahlia Society. Her flower gardens included hundreds of dahlias which were enjoyed annually by countless people passing her home.
Marilyn is survived by her brothers Dick and Don. She was preceded in death by her brother Jack. Also surviving are her beloved nieces and nephews: Mike, Stacy, Steve, and Monica as well as eleven grand nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday September. 2, At Cypress Lawn in Everett, WA
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Marysville Middle School library or a favorite charity.
