Mark died on December 22, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon, his three children: Brad (grandchildren Max and Haley), Scott, and Eric, two cats, and many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other extended family in San Antonio, Texas. Mark entered the U.S. Navy in 1969 and retired as a Lieutenant Commander after more than 20 years of service. He continued working at the Hanford Nuclear Plant, Boeing and lastly, with City of Everett. He was a devout Catholic and Dallas Cowboys fan.
