

On December 25, 2014, Ned Hunt passed away in the arms of his loving family. Ned was born November 2, 1963 in Apia, Samoa. A man of many words, he taught everyone in his own way how to respect, care, cook, protect and believe in life while loving every lasting moment.
He spent a lot of summers barbequing and bringing family together. Ned loved watching Nascar, cheering on the Seahawks, and fixing cars. Most importantly he loved his family and enjoyed watching everyone grow and prosper. He was a proud father figure to many more than just his own children.
He was preceded in death by his father Ned Hunt; his mother Elena Hunt; and his great nephew Damian Flores. He leaves behind his loving wife, Jo Ann Hunt; children, Ned Hunt, Josh and Elena Wilson; Nikole Hunt and Cristy Hunt. He also leaves behind his siblings Dave Hunt, Lucilla Sagapolu, Sala Hunt, Anny Gogo, Cecil Hunt, Mary Tuimavave; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. With pride, respect, love and loyalty Ned will be forever missed. May he rest in peace.
A time of visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 at 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM with a Celebration of Ned’s live to follow at 11:00 AM at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville, Washington.
