Nora Elizabeth McLean

She was born on August 16, 1923 in Lummi, Washington to Thomas and Delphine Tom.

She worked in a Everett fish Cannery for many years, she worked in the Strawberry fields to make money for her children’s clothes, She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning fish and fruit, she was a member of the Lummi Smoke house years ago, she loved fishing with her family, most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and raising her children.

She took great pride in the fact that her Brothers, Sons, Grandson’s and Great Grandson’s were Veteran’s.

She leaves behind her Daughters, Marilyn McLean, Buffy Towle Son Milton McLean, brother Lawrence Tom, numerous Grandchildren, Great-Granchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Thomas Tom And Delphine (Hillaire) Tom, parents and siblings, husband Daniel McLean, Sons Daniel McLean II, Wilfred Allen McLean, William McLean Sr. and Daughter Lenora Louise McLean, Grandson Kevin James, Granddaughter Nini (Chickie) McLean.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home with an Interfaith service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at the Tulalip Tribal Gym. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tulalip Tribal Gym with burial following at Mission Beach Cemetery.
