

Penelope Brill Ploeger passed away on Tuesday, August 9. She was born to Clarence and Monica Brill in Wisconsin. Penny was a loving mother, first and foremost, and teacher all of her career. Her passion for children and learning led her to many volunteer positions to better her community. She was an active member of Marysville Kiwanis. She and her husband Ken met in Hawaii in 1965 at her family home and were stationed in many ports with the Navy, finally settling in Marysville, Washington.
She is survived by her son Ken (Reshal, wife; Ryland and Hayden, grandchildren), daughter Kristina, and sisters: Deborah Power (Will), Maribeth Feldman, and Candace Brill. Penny now rejoins her husband of 41 years, Kenneth Joseph Ploeger, who preceded her in death. An open house celebration will be held at the Jennings Park Barn 6915 Armar Road / Marysville, WA 98270 from 6-8pm on Friday August 19, 2016. In lieu of gifts, please send a donation to Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County / 2731 Wetmore Ave., Suite 500 / Everett, WA 98201 to whom we feel deeply indebted for their care of our mother and father in their time of need. Inurnment will be held at Diamond Head Memorial Park, Honolulu, HI at a later date.
