Penny was born in August of 1961, to Betty and James Carpenter in Auburn, CA. Penny graduated from Anderson Union High School in 1979, her spirit and positivity were unmatched.
Penny met the love of her life, James Dorsey in Anderson, CA during the spring of 1987, and they were married in Carson City, NV on April 14th,1990. Penny and James were married for 33 wonderful years and had a daughter, Amanda Cordery.
Penny was a one-of-a-kind wife, sister, mother, and Mamaw who always put her loved ones first. She had a great affinity for life and refused to have quit in her heart. Her wonderful sense of humor and playful banter will be missed. Her memory will live on, and she will forever remain in our hearts.
Penny leaves behind her loving Husband, James Dorsey, Daughter- Amanda, Son-in-Law- Mike, Grandchildren- Cameron and Adam, Siblings-John and Carol, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
