Regina Ann Martz passed away on March 14 after a long illness. She leaves behind her husband, Terry Martz, daughters Dori Martz and JoBeth Loreman, Son in law Corwin Loreman, grandchildren Oliver and Elliot Loreman all local, and 3 sisters, Cindy Lopez, Tammie Forbes, Josie Westover, and 1 brother, Bryan Beardsley all of Southern California, and numerous nieces and nephews. Regina, known as Neena to her family was an accomplished crafter, knitting, crocheting, beading, and drawing. She enjoyed old movies, visiting with her daughters and grandkids, and playing with her pets. Originally from Ohio, she migrated as a girl to California. In her 39 year marriage, she lived in Illinois, several cities up and down the length of California, and Washington, following her husband through a Navy career, supporting him and raising her children through the difficult moves and deployments often having to do so alone long before cell phones, email and Skype existed. She held her family and often other families together. Wife, Mother, Oma, Friend. She will be greatly missed.
